Did not have an accurate count of campus population commuting miles. Estimated commuting miles for faculty/staff using zip codes and average distances from zip codes. Also lacking data on student zip codes. Assumed all faculty/staff commute five days a week (higher emissions could to some extent offset the zero emissions from student travel present in the calculations.) Future inventories will conduct a representative survey of the campus population regarding transportation emissions. |
